As Senior Digital Health Advisor at USAID/Ethiopia, I served as the senior adviser and senior digital health lead for USAID’s approximately $63 million Digital Health Activity, one of the country’s major donor-supported investments in national digital-health systems. My responsibility was considerably broader than providing technical advice on individual software platforms.

- $63M Portfolio Oversight: Directed investment strategy, procurement review, and technical governance for the primary national digital health portfolio.
- Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI): Expanded connected health information systems to 8,000+ community health posts and 1,300+ primary health facilities.
- Enterprise Interoperability: Guided the integration of electronic medical records (EMR), health logistics/supply chain software, workforce registries, and national health analytics dashboards.
